Olympus Stylus Epic in Japan

My last Frugal Film Project roll of Kodak ColorPlus shot in Kichijoji and Kamakura

Here are some highlights from the roll of Kodak ColorPlus 200 I shot in my Olympus Stylus Epic (MJU II) in Japan. These photos were taken in Kichijoji and Kamakura in mid-September 2024.

Listen along to the podcast for full details, brief descriptions under each photo.

My son and I love Inokashira Pond, it’s just south of Kichijoji JR Station.

Travelling around Japan is easy, many signs are in English.

I love this row of blue boats, but we always hire a swan.

Lined up and ready to go! A bargain at just 800 yen ($5USD) for 20 minutes.

I take this photo everytime I come here, love the shapes and colours!

Sadly a bit of early morning lens fog on this shot of the Great Buddha of Kamakura.

Hasedera Temple, Kamakura.

Koi carp, Hasedera.

Hokoku-ji temple, Kamakura. I drank matcha here and gazed at the bamboo - make sure you check out the timelapse I shot here in the video below!
