Kodak Ektachrome 64T sample images

64T looks amazing cross-processed in C41 chemicals.

A couple of years ago I bought a brick of expired Kodak Ektachrome 64T film with the expiry date 12/2003. It came from Victoria, one of Australia’s cooler states, so I was hoping it hadn’t been affected too much by heat and humidity.

I’m not sure I would’ve bought it if the film had been in a warmer location like my native Queensland!

I shot the first roll of it through my Fujifilm Klasse S and had it processed as E6 and wasn’t really impressed. Of course being a tungsten balanced film, it had a blue cast, but overlooking that, the film didn’t wow me at all.

I waited for another year then started shooting it in my Konica Big Mini – this time I had the film cross processed in C41 chemicals. I love the results! The film looks quite grainy for a ISO64 film, and there is a strong vignette in some images, and there is often a warm cast to the images.
